Quiz randomizer for the quiz you print

- Your file never leaves your device.
- Figures, formulas and tables print as you made them.
- Free for two versions of up to 20 blocks.
Start with question 1: drag from its top-left corner to below its last choice.
Worked case: a 10-question Friday quiz for 28 students
- Draw 10 boxes, one per question, and pick the right letter on each. Click Make the versions and you get two PDFs and one answer map.
- Each version holds all 10 questions in its own random order. The page makes sure Version A and Version B never come out in the same order.
- Hand out 14 of each, alternating by seat. Two random orders of 10 questions put the same question at the same number about once on average, so a neighbor's sheet is wrong for most of the quiz.
- The answer map lists both keys side by side: 10 rows for A and 10 for B, each with the question's number in your original.
Questions
Does it randomize the answer choices too?
No. It shuffles whole questions, and the choices inside each question stay as you wrote them. That keeps every figure and every choice exactly where you put it.
My quiz is in Word or Google Docs.
Save it as a PDF first. In Word, use File, then Save As, and pick PDF. In Google Docs, use File, then Download, then PDF Document.
Can a random order match my original?
It can, but rarely: 10 questions have 3,628,800 possible orders, so the chance a version lands on yours is about 1 in 3.6 million.
Is my quiz uploaded anywhere?
No. The page reads the PDF in your browser and saves the versions back to your computer.
